Deli Style

My favorite morning sustenance since moving to the city is some sort of bagel/egg/cheese/maybe bacon sandwich. Recently, Lucinda Scala Quinn was on Martha Stewart demonstrating a recipe from her cookbook, Mad Hungry (cute name, right?), that she whips up for her sons.

You don't really need a recipe to make a tasty breakfast sandwich, but it is a nice reminder that you can have your own deli at home. Don't forget the hot sauce!

  1. I wish you'd stop posting so many blogs involving tasty items like this bagel breakfast sandwich! It makes me hungry just looking at the picture. Those look like poppy seeds on top of the bagel, though, and you know you can test positive for drugs if you eat too many of them, so be careful. I'm surprised the people who live in NYC don't all weigh 300#. I know I would.

  2. I think all the city walking combats the calories (at least that is what I hope!).

  3. Now with looking at that sandwich, it is getting difficult to watch my diet and calories.
