Just back from a trip to San Francisco and surroundings where I saw family, friends, and many of my favorite sights. San Francisco has been sort of a second home over the past four years and I'm glad to go West as often as possible. I hope to have a few posts devoted to my likes of the area, but for now I will leave you with a sweet and long-lasting treat recommendation: See's Lollypops! The dense flavors include chocolate, cafe latte, butterscotch (my favorite), and vanilla. Sugar on a stick. Yum.
Oh, tell me about it! Those pops have been a fav of the fam for a long time. I'm sure there are many fine chocolatiers around but having grown up with Sees, I've always thought they were the best. The variety and charm of their creations are hard to beat. You ought to get their catalogue sometime just to see all that is available. A particularly nice feature of their stores is the free sample(s) you get just for walking in.
