Wow, for once some superb and picture-perfect weather to accompany a holiday synonymous with the out of doors. I think any picnic or grill-out will be improved with these items:
What is better than fresh corn on the cob? Corn on the cob with lime and chili. Try it, you'll see...
They are da bomb. Ka-BOOM!
Tis the season.
Only available April thru July, so get your fill!
Oooooh, I want some of this corn right now! I tried a similar recipe recently that did not call for lime zest. Delicious, but I did crave a wee bit more lime...I bet the zest called for in this recipe will do the trick!
ReplyDeleteMy cobs of corn have always been boiled but when we went to SC in June there was a gas grill and Leannis seasoned the cobs with some stuff we bought at the local Piggly Wiggly and grilled them and we had a real feast! I'm sure this is no innovation, but since we're talking corn here....oh, and your summertime delights didn't include watermelon! An oversight completely unintended, I'm sure!
ReplyDeleteYes, a little zest goes a long way in adding citrus flavor. And as far as watermelon, I think it may deserve its very own post! :)
