Marvelous Snacking

We are in the midst of putting up an intricate show (crinoline, constant four part harmonies, ballot counting, harmonica playing, go-go boots, octave jumping, audience participation, and a multitude of step-touching) in a very short period of time.

That calls for some serious snackage.

The four gals agree upon the deliciousness of this new product:

We will happily incorporate the bags into the show (both acts!) in exchange for some free product. Do I smell a sponsorship? Chip'ins presents The Marvelous Wonderettes!

Oh Chip'ins, we think you are marvelous.

Let's Make A Deal

I've been coveting these sandals all of 2011.

But that is a lot of pesos for some shoes...
How happy was I when I saw that for today only, through Lucky Magazine's daily flash sale, they're 50% off. Woohoo!
Just enter "luckydaily2" at checkout. Offer is valid from 11am ET on July 19, 2011 to 10:59am ET on July 20, 2011, or while supplies last.

I can't partake in this great deal, so I hope you will and I can live vicariously through your versatile-and-stylish-sandals-for-a-good-deal life.

Someone reminded me of these today:

I think cherries are the happiest fruit.

Learning is Dangerous

I know mentioned THIS before, but I am really concerned about the person who writes my Spanish word of the day email blasts.

For example, is this really the best sentence for "glue"?

Good morning! Here's your Word of the Day from Transparent Language.

Spanish word:
pegamento
English translation:
glue
Part of speech:
noun

Example sentence

Spanish:Elegรญ una mala semana para dejar de esnifar pegamento.
English:I picked the wrong week to stop sniffing glue.

Feeling Blue

But not in a morose sort of way. No, no, no. In a cerulean meets turquoise who happens upon cornflower that relays back to teal kind of way. That was confusing. Just see below.

Girly to the extreme:

Paired with matching nails? Or maybe just on the toes.

When you can't pick a blue. How cute would this be with a simple white tank?

Loving the "something blue" wedding shoe trend among 2011 brides.

Al fresco dining. I might like this even more because of the name.

The real thing is even better:

This vacation-ready tunic could double as a cover-up:

Summer+Stripes=a loving duo.

Back home, I would happily display these vintage inspired blue appliances:

Would love a dress form in an unexpected color. I guess step one would be learning how to sew...

A hose? Yes, a hose. But a BLUE hose!

Singing the blues never felt so happy.
